Tow Truck Bodies & Complete Units
1. Does the body fit my truck? Do you also provide complete trucks?
For Body: Not all trucks are the same. It is built to fit. With accurate measurements, we customize the body to fit your truck.
For Complete Units: We manufacture both tow truck bodies and complete tow trucks. We can provide a one-stop solution including the chassis (ISUZU, HOWO, DONGFENG, etc.), so the unit is ready to work upon arrival.
2. What can you customize?
We can customize capacities, dimensions, range, thickness, material, style, painting, parts, etc.
Any small details and big changes you want are possible as long as they do not violate local regulations.
For complete trucks, you can also customize the chassis brand and emission standards.
3. Is the PTO included?
For Body Only: Usually, it is matched locally. We include from the pump. You could let us know the shaft and rotation for the pump.
For Complete Units: The PTO and hydraulic system are pre-installed and tested on the chassis by our engineers.
4. Can the color and LOGO be done as I want?
Yes, it can be done as required.
You could let us know the color you want and send us the LOGO photo.
We can match the painting for both the body and the chassis cab to your corporate identity.
5. Can the painting resist harsh situations?
It is optional with EP painting to last longer.
Aluminum beds and aluminum tool boxes for integrated & rotator units are available.
6. How many days for manufacture?
20-30 days for flatbed.
30-45 days for complex flatbed and small integrated units.
50-60 days for medium integrated units.
2-3 months for heavy-duty integrated and rotator units.
Complete Units: Typically requires an additional 10-15 days for chassis procurement and final assembly testing.
7. How does the payment work?
We start manufacture after receiving a 40% deposit and ship after completion and balance is done.
Payment can be done via T/T or Alibaba trade assurance.
We only receive payment to our company bank account: CHENGLI SPECIAL AUTOMOBILE CO. LTD.. We never receive payment to personal beneficiaries.
8. What is the shipping cost?
For one or two sets of small units, we can deliver to your forwarder in China or check shipping cost by LCL.
For multiple sets or heavy duty, we update shipping costs to your port or door for one container.
For complete units, we offer professional shipping via Ro-Ro, Flat Rack, or Bulk Carrier.
9. What container is needed for the truck body?
Less than 20ft beds and light integrated (under 16 tons) fit in a 20ft container.
Multi-beds (3+ sets) or beds over 20ft and heavy units (16+ tons) require a 40HQ container.
Complete trucks are usually shipped outside standard containers due to dimensions.
10. What else cost I have to pay to get the body or the complete truck?
11. Do you have an installation manual or drawing?
The body is completed with most parts fitted. You only need to match and install the subframe on your truck.
We provide detailed drawings and manuals for installation if needed.
For complete units, no installation is required; we provide operation and service manuals.
12. What is the warranty period?
1 year for light body, 2 years for medium duty, and 3 years for heavy duty.
Complete trucks include a global warranty from the chassis manufacturer (e.g., ISUZU) through local service stations.
13. Can I visit your workshop? Are there any samples?
Yes, welcome to visit our workshop!
We have light and medium duty units in stock or under manufacture.
You can always check the workmanship, materials, and parts for both bodies and complete truck assemblies.
